View Full Version : moving car with no suspension.. how to??

Anybody got any ideas on how to move a car with no wheels/suspension out of my garage??

I've pretty much stripped out my integra and need to remove so i can move on to my next project..

throw me some ideas guys,,

Get 4 guys on each corner and lift it onto a trailer. A bare chassis is pretty light. Then drop off at scrappy. $$$.

like the olden day, steel pipes to roll it.
or wood planks.

i used a steel trolley.

what kind of steel trolley oscar??

and how much would the scrap metal joint give me?? can they just pick it up n take it away for me?

my mate crashed his skyline and had to do this - made custom axles out of old trailers or some crap and attatched wheels onto the ends and welded the whole thing on the body. looked funny, but it worked haha

Are you able to borrow a pallet trolly from some where.
a place with a fork lift should have a pallet trolly
could use 2. one front one back
get on gumtree.com and see if any one near you will pick it up for scrap

I got my EG shell removed for free .by some scrap metal place in the eastside

hmmm pallet trolley sounds like it'll work.

I was thinking bout making up axles n wheels but sounds like a head fck..

would dolleys work??

another idea would be use a engine hoists if there easier to get

try to it that way on my driveway.....
