Hey guys,

Thought I'd join up after purchasing my Integra last month.

It's essentially dead stock, but here's a rundown of the car:

- 205,000km's
- Stock B18A1 with 5 speed manual
- Original alloys, cassette deck and speakers
- Electric windows, mirrors and sunroof

This is my 7th car (I think), but is probably the best car I've owned, everything works.

Unsure what my future plans are for this car, but my ideas are:

- B18C1 conversion OR B18A1 turbo
- Heavy duty clutch
- Buddyclub P1's (15*7/8 in Gunmetal)
- Coilovers or lowered springs with new shocks
- Decent stereo

For now, the stereo and a nice sounding catback is my goal until I decide what I want out of it.

Sorry for the pics, horrible phone camera.

Cheers guys :).

Long time between updates, but I purchased an OEM front lip off a fellow member here, should arrive this week :)

Done a lot of research into suspension and have decided to get some Tokico Illuminas and Ground Control shocks when tax arrives.

Not sure on what rims I want yet, I found some 17's for cheap but think they might look a bit too big.

Also removed the resonator and am planning to run some piping down shortly, love the new sound :)

Welcome mate! I see South Australian plates! Do you live in South Australia?
It looks pretty clean and I'm keen to see some of those mods! Hopefully we'll see you at some of the Adelaide meets!

Haha, yea, I live in the northern suburbs :)

Cheers mate, it's bone stock but shouldn't be for too much longer.

I'm thinking of attending the meet and eat if I can get time away from uni and work, would be good to get out.

Well I host them on saturday arvos, so hopefully you should be good coming out. I believe we've got 2 other DA9s that turn up regularly, both nice blokes so you shouldn't have any problem making friends. :P But we're all real nice.

Sweet! Keen to see some modifications kicked into gear! :)

Can you recommend any exhaust shops around the area? Would like a cat back but I the eBay ones are quite pricey.

I'll see how it goes, cheers mate :)

Front lip arrived today, went outside to test fit but it's definitely a 2 person job, will need a bit of convincing to fit properly.

How do people go about fitting them? Just screw it into the bottom of the bumper and wheel wells?

Might repaint it black before I put it back on.

Purchased parts for my new exhaust today off a fellow member (cheers Rayle), when they arrive I'll get a shop to make me up a 2.25" catback :).

Haven't updated in a while but I have some parts on order so expect a few updates in the near future.

Had a 2.25" cat-back installed, only press bent, I'm a little disappointed in that the guy didn't attempt to mount it where I wanted the muffler, but it still sounds okay. Other than that, have only installed an OEM lip from a 90/91 (required cutting) and have a short shifter from Shift Performance waiting to go in.

nice update

where did you want the muffler mounted anyway?

93Integra
08-04-2013, 08:33 PM
Thanks mate, still eagerly awaiting parts.

I was hoping to have it mounted directly behind the cutout in the behind, so you could see it properly.

I guess mounting it there was too difficult or there wasn't enough room. /shrugs

Haha, cheers dougie, turbo is definitely a "much further down the track" sorta thing. I have a list of everything I need, it's just money and time.

Small update, these arrived from the US today. Should go nicely with the short shifter.

Clutch will be installed at HondaDynamiks when I get the time to book it in.

Also, is there a way to re-size uploaded pictures through the forum? Or do I need to do it before uploading?

Update:

Short shifter installed (6 hour job as cat-back was refusing to be removed), new Blox weighted knob and DC2R shift boot installed. Great shifts now, feels like a whole new car to drive.

Boss kit arrived but no sign of new steering wheel, chasing it up no eBay.

Most importantly, new wheels arrived (pictures for everything to come tomorrow), getting tyres installed tomorrow.

Cheers :D

What wheel did you get?

93Integra
16-04-2013, 11:18 PM
Steering wheel or wheel wheels?

I got a basic dished OMP steering wheel, black with red stitching.

Actual wheels I got some Konig Candy 16x7 +40's, silver lip with black centre, they're beautiful (IMO).

Sorry missed the 's' I meant wheels as in the things that connect your tires to the hubs...

Post pics cos I'm too lazy to search in google!
