hi im just wondering about this car im considering buying
i dont know too much about cars, but last time i was at a dealership i was told most toyotas (eg. a 1991 camry i was checking out) would go to about 300km with no problems.
i heard that this isnt the same with hyundai cars - they run into problems at 150,200km. is this true?
anyway, to the point -> the honda integra im looking at has done 180,000 kms and im wondering if thats a bit too much considering i may be spending $4000 (all my savings) on it.
thanks

That's not very many km's for an 87 model. I've got an 88 and just recently passed 240,000kms, still going to 7000rpm everyday :D:honda:. Just as a reference point, I paid $5500 for mine 1 1/2 years ago.
It seems like a pretty good deal, just make sure you get it checked out by a mechanic or someone.

mines done only 130000KM.. 91 model.. it hasnt had any problems.. except for the normal wear and tear which in my case was a blown water pipe but besides that nothing.. well neways hondas have always been known to be reliable... go for it...

1. $4,000 grand aint much, and 180,000 clicks is nothing considering its an 87', theres a therory that goes, a car should do around 20,000km a year, so the integra your looking at is driven around 10,000km a year! thats EXACTLY what u want, a car that hasnt been driven like a taxi... i say buy it
2. dun get the camry... there usually recommended by old people, like my dad (did your dad read the artical about the camry in the racv magazine also...LOL)
3. hyundais always RUN IN TO PROBLEMS.... if u want quality, stick with a name u can trust... like HONDA

i second that, my LS has done 216000kms and i give it everyday, 6500-7000rpms most of the time, i havent had any problems with it.. as long as u get it tuned and what not every 5000 its all gravy my friend.. i bought my 1989 LS about 3-4months ago for $6500
