Spoiler light and stereo

I have just found out that my light in my spoiler isn’t working, are the led’s hooked up in series??

Where abouts is the other end connected to, could it of come loose?? Any one else have the lights stop working ??







Also I have just got a VDO 783 mp3 player my question is with the installation what do I do with the little compartment under the stock stereo?? I don’t see how I can still have it with another stereo because its actually screwed into the stock one my car is a 94 integra vtir

yeh i had a similar prob with my spoiler too, so instead of fixing the light i took off me spoiler for 250 at a smash repairers...
correct me if im wrong, but i heard its fair expensive to repair spoiler lights due to the fact that its LED and not jst stock bulbs...
if u wan a different look, i def recommend taking the spoiler off - looks hot :thumbsup:

yeah my spoilers are stuffed too.. like some work and some dont i dont know whats wrong.. but cnt b ****ed trying to help it... plus the fact that you know its going to be expensive.. so yeah just left it as it was.. sometimes it works sometimes it dosent but i was thinking about just disconnecting the whole thing and having it off...

have u tried pulling the spoiler off.. and taking out the light assembly that is bolted to the spoiler and maybe changing led?... ive taken off my spoiler and hooked up the lights on the hatch window.

havent tried taking the whole spoiler off yet,i have taken out the strip of leds just to have a look if any thing was loose, havent gone as far as changing the led's yet, if one is down does it stop the circuit all together from working???

any suggestions on the stezza ??

with ya stereo, the lil compartment under the stocker can b unscrewed so it becomes a separate item. u can attach the lil plastic compartment to the underside of ya new headunit and make that 1 thing...
mine was already unscrewed wen i bought my teg, kinda dodgy, but the xtra compartment was strapped onto the stock unit by a bit of electrical tape...
ive since done a simialr but neater job with my new alpine deck - and it looks schmick, cant tell that tape is holding the 2 2gether

From anzsikos response... if some are working and some arnt. then the lights must be wired in parallel for some of them to work. In series they would all be out.

with the spoiler light i would like to get it going again, and konw where the fault is comming from because 3 days ago it was working, my friend told me i had a tail light out soo i checked and my tail light was out but the spoiler light was working, then i put the new tail light in and the spoiler light doesnt work,....i just thaught it was weird
