black headlights or leave as they are?? EK civic

hey guys, recently started modding my EK. and after i painted my rims black i really liked the colour scheme. now im considering getting the black head lights, what you guys rekon? thanks :)

depends on how or what u do to achieve it. but they do look nice, since 9/10 civics have chrome surrounding on it.

Easiest way and most expensive is buying legit Ek9 head lights.

2nd would be ebay, but fitment is unknown, might be lucky if it fits with zero probs

3rd diy, though with this, u must take care in doin it, especially when it comes to re-sealing it up, so its water tight.

thanks guys, yeah i considered the DIY factor (alot of my car is DIY) but its looks lil tricky and id prefer to get it right. so i gues si will scope out some EK9 lights :)

My honest opinion. Don't do it. Restore your headlights make look new. Black housings on dark car won't go well. I've got a green EM1 atm, thinking if i should get it or not but it just doesn't work out together.

Note that if you decide to go with the black housings on ebay, most of them will not have parker holes since America don't use them.

Keep OEM IMO. If your car was white I'd say sure, go black housing.

If i got a used EK instead of getting a new FK2 i would have bought a black EK then gotten some after market black projector housings for it so start the stealth look, then the tinting would have been next(would have gone for darkest legal tint) then would have gotten intergra type r looking rims in black as seen in pic, then would have lowered it a little.

i did it came out prefect just remember to make sure the lights are properly shut.

you'll love them it gives the car a more aggressive look.
