Hey
I tried removing the skirts to prep them to paint them today but i managed to remove all clips + screws except one on each side on under the skirts. It just wouldn't come out no matter how long i try to unscrew it. Anyone had this problem and got a solution to it?

get a flat head screwdriver,, lever the side skirt out a little and undo the screw at the same time, resulting the screw to pull out,,, worse come to worse chisel and hammer and replace the screw,,

^^^ what he said.

Your better buying new screw for them anyway.. I don't think anybody has been able to remove each screw perfectly and re-use them on the side skirts.. or fender liner.. or any of those damn screws!

I took mine off and out back on no hassle.

If its the screw type retainer do not push in while unscrewing. Try to turn the screw part out without pushing in. It could help if you slip a flat head under the clip and leaver it out a little whilst unscrewing at the same time.

Screw in ones are definitely easier than the push type ones. The push ones tend to crack as snap off when you wedge them out. Especially when the. Clips are 20years old. Not impossible. Mine haven't been replaced before. They looked new.

they arent screws, its sorta like plugs in. if you jack your car, and check behind, you can push them out and your sideskirt will get out.

all of my screws broke,or just didnt screw out, so i broke em, an replaced em with other plastic rivets, non screw types, nothing wrong with using other screws, so long as u can replace em with the old ones than its fine
