I got 05 "EP look" EU3(5dr).
I ve done exhaust with Varex, intake with K&N 69series and lowered w/ King spring.
Can anyone advise me good mods for D17A1 in performance without adding turbo on?
I feel bit thirsty when I go harsh.
By the way, is ep3 rear splitter fit to eu3? I doubt about and has anyone done that?
Many thanks!!

hey bro i've got an 01' eu ..nice sunroof
eu looks pretty sick
what rims have u got on?
performance wise nothing really would change u'd had to put in a turbo for somewhat of a kick
u say ur engines a d17a1? pretty sure mine was d17a2 dunno what the differences would be
your model is pretty much identical to an ep3 so most exterior parts would fit just not the side skirts

Well, I wasnt sure a1 or a2. Prob a2 I reckon.
Rims bought on Ebay at 800 w/ tyres. Running gd weight wise but pretty shitty rubbers on is Rotolla or sth. Its got red line along the rims but I spray and H decals on it.
Thanks for your comment anyway. Still wondering fitment for rear splitter.

Engine Mods - Wouldn't bother with anything other than slapping a turbo on it as the D17 will gain very little or if anything at all from I/H/E.
Exterior - as for the rear it may or may not fit from the EP ur gonna have to to a trial fitment or look at what some of the US people are doing. ive gone throught this for close to 5 years with the ES and ive found that close to half of the DC5 and EP3 parts fit the ES or EU u just need to look it up to make sure which parts will fit.

us parts wont fit properly for the ep like for example the front bar, theirs is longer than the jdm/uk/eu civics

im not too sure with a d series motor, since you drive a euro a kpro is what you'll want when getting an ecu

I found its hard to gain kw unless I put shit lots of bucks into it. (Sounds pretty obv)
You could be right but there is no point we need forum or online community if so.
Reckon people tend to start where they are from.

you gotta spend loads of money to be adding performance into a eu3 man, first of all as we all know ep3 and eu parts are unfortunately not exchangeable, body is too different and obviously k series and d series .. very few parts can be fitted such as the ep3 wing, but costs money to make fit.. however i don't know how much more you gain from this, but people go d17 block and d16 vtec head ? As I said I'm not sure how much of a difference this does.. and also probably cost a bit but that's a option you could try
Otherwise you could just stick to the cheaper simple mods intake header exhaust and possible basic tune ? Sadly the eu3 have very limited parts :( even coils are hard to find ..
