Tein springs...

i have never had springs on a S2K before but on my DC2R i had eibach progressive springs and also eibach sportline.

i used my stock shocks also..

eibach progressive was only a 20-30mm drop front and rear and was slightly stiffer than oem but still very compliant and non bouncy (say like king springs as an example)
the sportline gave a lower drop of 45-50mm front and rear and i also used the oem unfortunately i didnt run this setup for long so i cant give alot of feedback on it.. but i had no issues with either

in both variants the spring + oem shocks were very good and if you can get the springs for a cheap price then you are laughing
in the long term it would be adviseable to either upgrade to an aftermarket shock such as koni, bilstein, KYB etc as long periods of time on a oem shock can decrease the life span or blow it

the only issue is that they dont 'dump' you car to the ground - but if you are after something that will retain or even improve on the OEM setup and want a slightly lowered look on the street then i cant fault either of the eibach springs..

P.S. i got both from the states through my cousin so i didnt pay the $600+ it sells for in AU =D

Go BC racing coil overs if you want low. You can get em for about $1300 and you can almost have the car scraping the ground.

if you can afford an S2K as a first car, look at getting some KW Sport coilovers. Talk to Johnny or Roy at On The Run Motorsport (www.ontherunmotorsports.com.au) if your located in Melbourne and let them know Josh sent you

If you want just springs.. then your options are below;

Teins SS Coils.
Eibach
KMAC (fairly priced fitted too - under 400)
Pedders

What ever you do, dont cut or reset your OEM springs ,,.!! lol
