hi anyone install double din dvd in dc2r?
do u need buy a Double Din Radio Installation Dash Kit something like that fit dvd?

yeah i think you will need the installation kit. i recently installed a double din deck in my dc2 with the installation kit and now it sits flush. The steel bracket they sometime supply you with wont do the work. i dont no if its just me, but a lil investment do pay off :)

yeah i used an install kit from autobarn blacktown. i think it was under $50 for the kit some years ago and makes install so much easier and neater.

my mate put a double din dvd player in his dc2 type r no kit needed it all bolts up fine, the head unit is one of the latest from pioneer
