So Im planning to buy a MY05 (Japan) Jazz next year and came across some questions if you could help me out with.

1. Spare tyre - I know the thailand built(facelift) has a full size spare tyre. But what about the Japan(MY05) facelift models? Im looking at a VTI-S and would prefer a full size tyre since the pre-facelift has a spacesaver. Can anyone with a Japan built facelift confirm this?

2. Other than CVT(Im going for manual) Is there a way I can check if the A/C compressor is about to give out? I know the CVT and A/C is a common problem with Jazzes.

3. Should I keep an eye out for a Jazz with a boot leak? Or is this starting to become normal on all Jazzes?

Many Thanks

Artie

The MY05 VTI-S does NOT have a full size spare wheel. It only has a space saver and a full size spare will NOT fit in the wheel well in the boot. The MY06 (Thai built) VTI-S has a deeper wheel well to accomodate a full size alloy spare wheel.

they all have space saver spares, i believe the only one that does have a full size is the thai built 2007 models.

but i cannot be 100% certain.
