How long ago was the car resprayed??

looks nice.

lm not to sure, only picked up the car about 3 weeks ago, only the pre facelift has been painted, but still original 13 year old paint on the body of the car

na, there actually not bad, l like the rims l have on now atm, but l really want the axis og sans, rapainting them green with a white lip, it'll look something like this

Engine swap is a good idea. Looks like you are sorted with your handling there... even with a D16 you can have some fun with that setup.
