dc5r wheel spin help.!!!

hiii guys i have a huge issue ... i cant get wheel spin lol

the reason i want wheel spin... iv been in a dc5r same mods as me i/h/e and was getting massive wheel spin in 2nd and 3rd....ok let me just say it blew me away...its because of that dc5r i got mods..

when i got my dc5r it was stock, said to myself doesn't need anything but a modded dc5r changed everything for me!!
the wheel spin effect just gave me that powerful impression like its a beast or something lol.........stock i was like no way ill get wheel spin so i copied that dc5r with its mods lol



ok after getting i/h/e light rims and engine mounts omg no wheel spin =( =( =(
what em i doing wrong ....is there something wrong with my dc5r ...wah can i do??

Could be your driving style,clutch might be stuffed,any number of things

What tyres and size you running?

and btw youre complaining about something all fwd drivers are fighting against :confused:

Driver it harder. You might not be getting wheel spin for a number of reasons - not rev'ing hard enough, tyres gripping too much, maybe your friend spun in the wet/colder conditions or whatever.

that day he let the car warm up for like 15 min he had stockiest on and was abit of a down hill and a sunny day....but dear lord the wheel spin he got made me think whats this dc5r on lol

If you want your car too wheel spin when changing gears then just flat shift(bad for you G'box). wheel spin is something you should try and avoid tho, slows you down, wastes your tires and is just plain fail.

If your mate did it on stock rims its probably due to the fact theyre narrow as a wheelbarrow rim. Narrow tyres = less rubber on the road to grip with = easier to spin. Or theyre bald as. Or both. Lol and as everyone else is saying wheelspin makes you SLOWER. If you dont spin your wheels and he does then your car is faster which = win.

Also to the OP if you run your tires at a higher pressure you will get less grip and wheel spin more.

I think he's just talking about chirps between 1st-2nd. My Y1 gives a chirp if I redline 1st gear because my tyres are crapola. Never happened when I was running Kumho KU25's. Tyres make all the difference IMO (compound and thickness both). Similar situation with my B16A CRX. Used to spin 1st-2nd when I was running a standard motor + I/H/E on 185/60/14 RE001. Now I'm running full head build + I/H/E on 195/50/15 R1R and I get zero spin because the R1R grips like a mother.

OP might just be a superior driver to his friend without realising it LOL
