Was just wondering if anyone has got much experience with how much difference flywheel weights make to performance. I bought the car with a B20B bottom end and B18c7 head and once i took the box out it looked like it had a lightweight flywheel (bad heat spots all the way through) and to get one im looking at about $400-$600 for 4-5kg, i've been told that the standard b18c one weighs around 7kg and the type r one is about 6kg so basically what i want to know is it worth an extra $400 to save on 2kgs?
or does anyone know a cheaper alternative than toda?
cheers
