Is it the one on the left or right? The one on the left has blue fluid, and i was under the impression brake fluid is supposed to be brown? but then shouldn't both reservoirs have brake fluid if one is brake fluid reservoir and other is clutch res

Also, its not the clutch slave reservoir.
the clutch slave cylinder is down on the gearbox.
That up there is the master cylinder res.

I see your brake is a bit low on fluid.

Yeah it's above min and it's not dropping so i'm just leaving it for the time being. Fluid is pretty black so might bleed it soon anyway

if it's low, it mean it's leaking a lil bit somewhere or you have not filled it well. Check for small leaks

what's the use of bleeding brakes with black fluid?
you mean full flush and re bleed braking system?

If he does not know which one is clutch reservoir that's mean that he is not gonna flush the brake system by himself .

I bought the car with all the fluids low. I don't know the story but they're not leaking so whatevs.
Yeah by bleed i mean suck out the black shit and fill with new fluid and then bleed it.

hmm,, odd,,, fluid won't go anywhere unless it's leaking,, or maybe he was doing it tough and could only afford 600ml bottle dot4

When i bought it, oil was sitting below MIN as well but the cars not burning any oil. So i really have no idea where all the oil, coolant, brake fluid, PS fluid, MTF went... unless the guy that filled them didn't go to MAX and just settled somewhere in between. *shrugs*

Early days to decide there are no leaks mate. Replace all fluids, top up, drive around, then you look for leaks.
