Hi guys,

Newbie here.. just upgraded from my Civic to an Accord Euro '04. I have been reading heaps on this website regarding mods and what not and I think I know my stuff and I'm a Honda freak - LOL even my bikes a Honda.

Had few questions:

1. What is the most important/first mod that this car should have? I was thinking a CAI - I want it to breathe easier - headers would be my second choice.
2. The headlights are dirty/foggy and ruin the look of the car - what would you recommend? I wanted to install the 8000K HID kit - what are your thoughts on that - I like the BMW/angel eye look.

Current car is stock except for the coil-overs (BC Sports).

Looking forward to your replies :D

You can get headers or cai up to you. Cai being cheaper. Look at the comptech ice box aswell.

I wouldnt recommend hids unless they come stock i havr phillips extreme vision much much brighter.

breathe easier? clean or replace your cabin air filter then CAI > headers > exhaust

headlights are foggy as in they are yellow? or are the lights yellow :S ? i would recommend using cut or 1200 grit sandpaper (sand it down) then sand with 2000 grit and then polish. i wouldnt bother with a headlight renewal kit, with cut/polish at least u can reuse them.

6000k low 8000k high 6000k fog (white or yellow)

are the bc coilovers leaking?

if u like the angel eyes look, trade in your euro for a bmw.
and as much as u want the euro to be a sporty car. it wont be. thats what all euro owner gotta live with hahahha

CL9 can be and is sporty - CU2 isn't - that looks like the biggest family car.

You can put lipstick on a pig, but it is still a pig. We got some pretty cute pigs though ;).

I prefer my fatass'd CU2 look to the slim CL9, but then again I'm not looking for anything sporty!

Lol well "rice" is really an individuals opinion but now the overused term by some stupid people everyone calls everything rice..

spoilers, aftermarket body kits and even tasteful led light mods (parkers ect) to the point it's stupid.

For me the Luckystar Front was a bit hmmm too aggressive for the car's nature thus I didn't purchase it when my friend offered a genuine kit to me haha.

But I was merely just kidding I know u wern't calling my car rice haha.

Luckystar Rear on the other hand made the back of the car look smooth and clean with sexy curves with a bonus diffuser looking bottom.

Skunk 2 also happens to be one of the best gaining bang of the buck exhausts... so that's why some people go for the exhaust. +I like the tone :D

that isnt rice, thats gayer than aids, and that was what i thought BEFORE i saw the transformer badge and bob-jane spec rims

edit: my comments are in reference to the car and although it may be a reflection of the owner i will assume it is not XD

i was talking to someone and they told me that the euro does not need CAI as it already comes with the full kit.. and i should go exhaust system or the headers. Is this true? Does it actually come with the full system? I mean I know its the standard Honda one but if does not do anything different then the Injen one then might as well start on the headers..

Fredoops
08-12-2011, 02:21 PM
No it doesn't, it's got big and heavy resonators.
You can start with header and cat, which makes big difference. exhaust/catback don't actually do much, because the euro exhaust is very free flowing as is.

Look if you want items that produces the biggest gains it is the Headers, CAT and Intake...

Best gains from Intake is CAI and everything else is what brand and type you want.

totally agree, hate ppl trying to make a car look like what its not, if u like it than aim at a genuine bmw, not look alike, the look alike angel lights and after market look so bad its not funny
just cant do it like oem.....
my aim is always to do best oem on that line, so lastest or best wheels that were designed for the shape etc....and anything else that changes things with subtlety
anyway, my 2 cents
even consider type R wheels, look so nice on euros
