Civic 1996-1998 Sedan Rrear Trunk Lip Spoiler fit on Ej8 Coupe?

Hey Ozhonda as the title says i was wondering if a Rear Trunk Lip Spoiler designed for a Sedan would fit on a coupe since the rear are kinda the same i think? Thanks for helping :)

To answer your question. Is probably not.
Im pretty sure the rear end for ej8 and sedan is different. that is for prefacelift and facelifted sedans.

Best you should go have a look at it.

Maybe with a slight adjustment of the holes and sscrews you could get it on.
and remember, everything fits on everything if you got money.

hahaha yeah true lol, because like all i know about the rear end of sedans and coupes is that they share the same rear bar so i assume the trunk is different/

they are different as they have different middle tail light inserts and number plate holder, but as far as dimensions and curvature, i wouldnt have a clue, but i would imagine they are very close!

I'm just about 100% sure EJ8/EM1 boots/trunks are the same design and specs if you read the below:

I can tell you boot/trunk spoilers for EK coupes and sedans are interchangeable - you can use them on both. Also, it's worth noting that the wings are also interchangeable on pre-facelift (96-98) and facelifted models (99-00) - see all pics below.

Given this, my best guess would be EJ8 coupe and sedan wings are also interchangeable and can fit either. The rear bars sound like they are a different story as some of the guys have already covered off - but I think the answer is yes to your original question if an EK 96-98 spoiler will fit on an EJ8 coupe.

Further, I know an EM1 Si spoiler fits on an EJ sedan (see below) - so I'm sure pretty Honda made all dimensions workable between sedan and coupe.

Note: a pre-face lift rear underspoiler (96-98) can be fitted to a facelifted bar (99-00) with some mods - see the below pic from my mate in the US.

I have a mugen style wing on my EK sedan and it fits both coupe and sedan.
