Hey guys,

Currently my gf has a 2002 DC5r she would like to sell or swap and being the nice bf that i am, Ive decided to give her my 2005 198kw WRX and settle for something more comfortable and luxurious.

Im currently tossing up whether i should get a 06+ Liberty or a Euro Luxury. Being Euro owners, if u were in my shoes, what car would u get?

Auto or manual?

Euro beats 2.5 liberty hands down

The 3 ltr.... That flat six has got serious poke..

whatever you do do not get the ugly ass liberty (current one) lol. i do like the 06 07 liberty turbo version very much but the interior loses to the euro and you will be inside of the car most of the time...but the euro loses in power but hey, u still got the rex.
(and the clutch is ridiculously soft when u go from wrx to euro)

and your GF doesnt kno how lucky she is (or maybe she does :S) ..

I'd be happy with either a manual or auto. Talking to some friends, they reckon auto is the way to go..something about its hard to get smooth gear changes with the manual or something.

Id love the 3L but its a petrol guzzler and thats what im trying to get away from. The wrx is already a fuel guzzler, i dont want another one.

Apparently the 3L boxers average 12L to 13L per 100km before SI Drive was introduced.

I hate the new Libertys...so boxy and has a damn ugly rear end.

Im not really after power, more exterior and nice leather interior.

Hehehe yeh shes lucky. Im just abit sick of my wrx having owned for 4yrs and ive always wanted an Accord Euro so its kinda like a win win.

I would be looking at getting a euro for roughly around the price we plan to sell the dc5r...dont really want to get a car loan esp with a mortgage.

Currently i get 360 to 400kms out of a full tank and the wrx can only use 98 octane petrol

Lexus is nice!

BMW is pretttty ehh unless you get like 325i+ at least.

Too many people think that driving a 318i makes them look like they bringing in a truck load of paper.

what about a 135 ? i do agree on the higher end beamers being better by a huge gap tho
