Gday guys,

Basically as topic asks.

Looking to run a external shiftlight triggered by the s300 (i believe they use the CEL imput?) Also i believe its a switched ground which means a hard active to the shift light?

Myshift light draws 250mA will this be ok to run a direct circuit ground out through the ecu? or will i need to run a relay etc?

Also what was the pin location on the s300 that i will need? Also if anyone else has any feedback / ideas please let me know

Regards Lyle

OBD1 Pin A13 - MIL
Top row plug A, 7th from the left.

To run an external shift light (Other than MIL), use IAB output (A17) or reconfigure pin A10
Trigger using IAB settings
Parameters - Vtec - IAB (Secondary Intake Runners)

Edit: Use a relay

Haha adrian you come to the rescue yet again!...
Any pro's / con or specific reasons you would /would not use those outputs? I know the Shift light tab on smanager, and that you can simply put in a rpm figure and the lamp will toggle.
However how do you configure smanager to use different put outputs etc?

Cheers mate
