short notice opinions on s2000 purchase

I have a friend who's in the market for an s2000 but doesnt want to spend too much. He bumped into one over ebay thats on auction for only 1 more day, im just wondering if anyone knows anything about this cars background like weather it has been in an accident or not...

I remember seeing this one on carsales not long ago, for like $20,000-$22,000 i forgot, but yeah it never got sold so theres probably something wrong with it, but from the pictures it looks fine.

If you're super keen.... Place bid -> Go to pick it up, but instead check it out -> If something is wrong, just run away.
Worst case scenario, you get 1 negative feedback instead of possible s2k headaches and dramas from things which could be wrong with the car.
