where to buy quality mouldless bars from for 96-98 ek???

found a couple of places which do mouldless front bars but they dont stock rear bars

can you guys share where you have bought your mouldless bars from and how well do they fit?

in syd preferably but if the price is right, interstate is ok also

just ring your local honda spare parts and get an ej8 front bumper and also the facelift 1999/2000 rear bumper should fit!! thats what im doin to my 96 ek

What said above is true. U need ej8 front and facelift rear or you can get prefacelift rear bar from ek9.

You could call an aftermarket parts dealer. It would be Taiwanese made and quality is not as good as oem but it does ok.

put it in perspective... front mouldless copies are $80... not sure what you paid for your genuine honda one but im sure its more than that

If it's only $80 for a whole front bar, I'd be really interested in the fitment. Is this online or local? If it's local, definitely take the time to test fit it before purchase (if they let you. If they don't, think twice. Most people will say yes if you give them a deposit, do it on the spot and promise to buy it if it fits). If it's a perfect fit I'm sure a lot of guys on here will want to buy the same bar. Maybe come back and negotiate a group buy price.

If it was me, I would buy a used bar. Sand it down yourself and get someone to spray it for you if you want to save on money. It will be a perfect fit, and Honda OEM quality. Unfortunately, I think you'll be hard pressed to find a perfect fitting rear bar for cheap in Sydney... Again let us know if that front bar is an online buy or a local one.

Replica ones fit ok. Mine is replica.

Don't bother with paying for 'type r' bumper bars, like stated EJ8 front ends are exactly the same as ek 99-00 models, i'm sure you could source one through justjap, or a jap spares dealer or even yonas in the trading section. like chauster said replica/ebay bars will do the job but they won't give you that 100% oem fitment. do a quick google search for sydney jap wreckers and try find a parted out ej8 or ek1/4/9.

I got ek9 rear bar and lip. Front bar is taiwanese. Ek9 bar was from seeker and front bar is from triple SSS from Melbourne
