Air Con Whine

Hi

Ok, When my Air con is on there is a whine which goes up in revs,to about 3000Rpm, then the pitch gets lower. Its like a whistle / whine noise.
As soon as i flick the air con off, it goes...

I have a after market head unit, but it was doing it before i tinckered with the stereo... has anyone has the same problem ????


oh and on a side note does anyone know how much power is lost with the Air con on ???
it seems to take a big chunk out of mine when its activated

Could be the fan motor crapping out... And the fan can be noisy anyway.

Yes you lose too much power, just remove it. :)

haah is your removed pinna ???

yeah could be compresor i dunno might take it in casue it sounds like a wanna be turbo spool :(
