Sorry if this has been asked, but I used the search and didnt find anything relevant.

I was just wondering what time would a stock CRX (D16A8 DOHC) get on the quarter mile?

Thanks alot.

that would be low 15's with a decent 60" time. esp with a terminal speed of 90mph

EF8/9 SiRs run 15.3 according to Honda in stock trim. Mine ran 15.5. Stock Si CRX with no mods - my guess would have been 15.9 at best.

900 kilos is a big difference to the SiRs which top out at 1000kgs.

i agree, if I get in the 15s with my lightly modded eg5 Si id be stoked. :)

stock si(either crx or eg) into 15s is pretty blardy good IMO.

HF - doidn't have PS or PW or power anything else for that matter.

EF8 spec is the one that doesn't have ABS, or glasstop or sunroof or power options.

I really have to find a hosting spot for my EF8 and EF9 brochures.

BTW - I've gone head to head with a few Aus spec stock CRXs in my stock EF9 and not one has ever got closer than my rear 1/4. If I'm doing 15.5.... go figure. Yet according to the figures, there's a 30ps difference in my favour compared to 140 kilos in the CRX's favour.
