hey guys im just wondering where abouts i would look in the engine bay harness
to source the tachometer wire, ive searched up for normal delsol and it says its a
blue wire coming out the dizzy , obviously my engine is different, any idea were i
could find this wire?. I dont want to grab it from the cluster as i heard it wont give
the correct reading.

Just go the ecu and track the wire. If you do not know which wire is it.

This PDF is usefull (http://www.google.com.au/url?sa=t&rct=j&q=k20%20tacho%20wiring&source=web&cd=9&ved=0CGEQFjAI&url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.gizzmoelectronics.com%2Fpdf%2 FTachRecall%2520Shiftlight%2520Instruction%2520Ver 1.04.pdf&ei=M6bgTrXJN-mTiQfC8pmnBQ&usg=AFQjCNFYdMCZfV0KHECUKR7_JrElc6X55w&cad=rja)

Look at obd1 table
You might be able to use your factory obd1 plugs to use for tacho
Pin A22

Just go to the ECU find the tach pin and do it.
