Hey guys

So I picked up a euro for my gf last week and on the drive home the electric seats and heaters stopped work, I checked the fuses in the fuse box in the driver foot well but they were all fine.
I called the old owner and he said to remove the penal below the steering wheel and there is a yellow thick wire with a long fuse, sure enuff it was blow, replaced and and they worked for about a week, then this morning it has blown again

Has anyone elce had this problem???
And does every euro have this fuse under there stetting wheel, to me it donsnt seem right.

Thanks Ryan

check the wiring under your seat maybe? could be a short circuit somewhere from worn wiring or something

the fuse box is on the panel next to the pedals.

May or may not be the case but, perhaps check the actual connections the seat warmers use which is located under the shifter panel? Using a panel popper tool (plastic shovel looking thing to avoid scratching) gently pry it open and see if the actual connections are placed in securely and tightly, or if there is a fray on that end.

Oh okay, in that case then no need to worry about that part. It's somewhere else, hm so far the only issue i've had with my euro's heated seats *touch wood* is the light not turning on but it still working. First i've heard of them going bust.. especially twice once it's replaced. Did the new part not have a warranty? I'm sure you could get them to replace for free this time around?

Sounds dodgy.

Probably an internal short in the heater itself.
