eg air con issue.

hey guys got the wifes air con fixed today. wen they regassed it however it started working then starting going on and off then went off altogether.
they tried swapping the relay that didnt help tested the coil resistance it was apparently all good, jumper wired the pressure switch wiring no difference...
on the drive home it started working for a bit, then stopped for a bit then started again then stopped...
car currently is not leaking n has a full system of gas.

anyone got any ideas?

sounds like it could be a faulty compressor if your saying the bypass of the on/off switch did nothing

Thermal protector on top of the compressor cutting in and out causing the compressor to work on and off intermittently.

thermal protector good thought... n dont think its the compressor seems to be electrical issue.

Check if your fan is blowing the correct way (sucking air from the outside), ive seen a few cases where fans have been swapped and they were blowing the wrong way causing the A/C system to overheat and switch off.

no components have been changed since it was working last, drove it today n it was working intermitantly again...
