hi all,

I knoe that this is a honda forum but might as try to get some help. I have an 91' excel which had broke down (engine is gone) and i done a engine swap with another excel engine (92').

After converting the engine and gearbox, and checking all the cable are in, the engine won't start up. Its cranks but not fire up.

I had change all fluids including oil, g/b oil, coolant, brake, clutch and etc.

Does anyone knoe whats wrong with it?

The engine which i had swap into was sitting in my backyard for 4 months.

Any help is appreciated

Jimmy

check fuel pump relay, fuel pump itself. Don't know what a excel engine look like but where the intake manifold is, take off the fuel hose thingy, put some petrol in it and try start the car up. If it starts up and then dies, you have fuel problem. Thats what happened to my gf car, and the mech did that to do some testing.

took out the spark yesterday and replace them with NGK ones.

The old one was wet with fuel.
