Hi guys. I'm wanting to run a 262mm disc on the rear of my eg but still maintain the original stud pattern. Can I use a dc2 vtir front disc? What caliper and trailing arm can I use? Is it possible to use a dc2r trailing arm with vtir front caliper?

Is the ep disc thicker (suitable thickness for ek9 caliper)? Ek9 caliper and dc2r caliper are the same?

Just remember that if you are going to 262mm rear, you will have to go to at least 282mm on the front, or run a brake bias adjuster so that you don't overbrake the rear

We can get custom rotors for it

no need man. front's do most braking anyways. Just get slotted rotors and upgraded pads. Unless your putting out massive power that will be plenty.

do other things like braided lines - upgrade BMC to match your willwoods - cusco brake stopper thingy.

Yeah but I'm planning on doing 282 front brakes so 242 will be a bit weird. I currently have drums so I figure if I have to get new ones might aswell be 262.

Eg5 I will keep you in mind when the time comes to purchase thanks

What you gonna do with the car, is daily drive or race car. I see no point upgrading to 282 front and 262 rear. 262 front and 242 rear is enough just get good pads and rotors and clean oil(dot 4)

Car is going to be 80% track 20% street. If I already had 242 rear I probably wouldn't bother upgrading to 262, but currently have drums so might aswell get the bigger ones. Also I believe the prop is correct with a 282/262 combo
