Hi guys

Owner of a 2007 FD1 here, no mods, pretty much stock standard.

I have noticed that on first start in the mornings, when I put the car into reverse there is a pretty large and constant shuddering. While slowly reversing, that shuddering is still there.

However if I put the car into drive or park, the shuddering disappears. It only occurs in reverse, and only usually on start. After driving it for about 10 minutes it goes away.

Does anyone have any idea how I can further troubleshoot this?

Thanks in advance all

I found a thread with a very similar issue to mine, see link below

Unfortunately no one posted any solutions to it =(

Ive also noticed that very recently the car is thumping around alot on rough roads and speed humps

For example, going over a speed hump the initial bump seems harsher, but when coming down off the hump, its even harsher. Its like a sudden thump and you can feel the vibration right throughout the whole car

Pushing the car up and down on both ends, seems fine, doesnt appear to be an issue with shocks, but cant say for certain

OK looks like it appears to be an engine mount issue as per comments here http://www.ozhonda.com/forum/showthread.php?144403-Engine-Mounts-for-R18a-FD1

Sounds like engine mount is at least $800, anybody know where I can source it for cheaper other than from Honda?

Problem is there are so many, all from USA
And the Civic variants in US are aplenty

So not sure which one is even the right one -*(
