Can anyone tell me if this shift linkage is from a DC2R?
Shift Rod approx. 28mm
Extension Rod approx. 22mm
Bonus point if you can tell me who makes this anodized blue short shifter.

I thought DC2R Shift Linkages were a gold/bronze colour, unless that's been painted of course.

From what I've seen online, all the gold/bronze ones were JDM linkages.
Can anyone with a DC2R confirm they have black linkages?

My dc2r shift linkage is black. No, it's never been painted. Maybe the JDM ones are different?
I seriously doubt there is a difference.
The dc2 vtir we have has a rebuilt dc2r GB in it, feels better than my dc2r GB (being newly rebuilt), feels so tight, can hardly wiggle it side to side.
IMO they're all the same and what makes a difference is the GB itself and the bushings you use.
good luck.

I got mine off a 2000 DC2R and it's the bronze color

Yeh did you get that off a JDM model? I'm assuming you replaced the VTI-R linkages, did you notice any differences when comparing the two?
I've read reports that non Type-Rs have counter-weights on the end of the linkage to reduce noise and vibration.

How can you tell dude? Is it because it doesn't have the counter-weights?

Got these pics off Google but if you look at the end of the linkage near where shifter bolts in there is this big weight. I've read on Honda-tech that Type-Rs don't have this. I'm not sure if this is the same in AUS, maybe someone with a VTIR can confirm

DC2R has a much thicker shifting linkage with a tapered end, (stabilizer bar is the same) and the joint that mounts to the gbox is much larger

BTW Moiz, looks like the bush connecting your linkage to your gbox wasnt put on properly. They are a bit of a PITA to do though lol

Thanks mate appreciate that. I'm certain mine are DC2R linkages but I wish somebody had some pics of AUDM DC2 VTI-R linkages so I can compare.
BTW are those your linakges? The DC2R looks like the end has been modified.

That photo u just posted doesn't seem right, even the photo of the black ones u posted is the same as mine (unmondified)

Bust seriously, I have come across four different shift linkages, not one set have been the same, all with slightly different bends etc, one set was even significantly longer and we have to modify it to make it fit, maybe it was front a crv or something who knows. Urs are defiantly dc2r linkages.
Also point of interest, b16 and b18 shift linkages are different and u will need to use the appropriate shifter

If you google Type-R linkages they all look like that (the gold ones). Your one looks like it has an extra tube piece welded on the end. Did you get that off an AUDM or JDM model?
The pics I posted of the black ones in post #14 are of USDM DC2 GSR linkages (VTIR in Aus) and they have the counter-weights on the end.
But yeh I'm pretty sure mine is DC2R

Take measurements too Thanks :)
I went through some old pics of my EG and I think it might have DC2R linkages fitted too. I'm going to get under it tomorrow and check.

I don't see an alloy bush, looks completely standard.
