hey guys im just wondering everytime i turn on my car it wont idle on its own u have to give it some revs to keep it from stalling im just wondering would that be the throttle body? the engine is a b18b from a dc2 gsi

Check your throttle cable if it's too tight, clean the throttle body and adjust the idle
Could be ignition or out of timing or even low on compression

Tappet issue? I would def do them DIY anything DIY is best!
