help identifying engine

hey guys with my recently purchased eb1 civic it had a blown headgasket

so i thought id buy a head gasket for or ordering one for an eb1

but after trying two eb1 headgaskets which both dont fit,

now the engine code stamped on the block is an ec1, which car does this comeout of??
(m search says a 2000 fit or something)

all i have photos of is the head/block and a eb1 gasket

isnt ec1 a crx chassis code?

Most likely but this is the engine code (Ec-1033195)
Seb1 is the start of the vin number

I can't find any specs on that engine
