After changing air intake, manifold and exhaust on ED civic, what the suggestion for have the ECU re-mapped?

Better results from the car with modifications?
Getting mix opinions.

What engine are you running? Where are you located?

I would recommend getting a new fuel pump (either standard or a Walbro intake) and then getting a tune just to be safe

running original engine D15B4 dual carb.

Have changed manifold and exhaust and new air intake. Have had recommendations to re-map ecu with mods.

Recommendations???

New intake = Denser air = More fuel injected
Exhaust and manifold = less restrictive flow.

The re-map would involve changing fuel and ignition tables. You'd really only need that if your engine has airflow which it can't find the corresponding fuel/ignition data for. But since your car is a carbie then it mechanically controls the afr. A new fuel pump would probably be a clear line in the sand to get a tune but at your stage you don't NEED one however, your car would run more efficiently and faster with a tune.

it is carbie engine not fuel injection, do not waste your money tunning the car at all, not even a re-map.Because what you have done to it is just nothing

yes it has, but not like EFI ECU

Read this Thread and you will know (http://www.ozhonda.com/forum/showthread.php?118501-D15B4-twin-carby-ECU&)

all you who say he doesnt have an ECU or carbies mechanicly control the AF, you are wrong.

the ECU in the ED D15B4 has not been developed, ( realy why bother for a carbie ECU ). best leave it alone or convert to an EFI engine to use known methods to tune.
