hell no.
i'm running 16x7 +40mm offset, and it rubs... (thou i HAVE lowered mine like 3 inchs), and i've liped the gaurds withing an inch of their lives, removed the screw that holds the bumper on, and removed the plastic tags...
17x7 +42mm will fit nice, (i kep getting told that the bigger the + offset the further in the mags will sit... )

what you can do is roll the guards, file down some plastic off the inside of the bumper and run some stretched tyres but it still may rub

you can use this
just dont lower the car too much and run 205/40 tyres
rolling will definately be required and might want to factor in a respray of the guards if the paint cracks
also remove the inner splash guards (if there is any) and cut any bumper tabs
you will rub the edges of the tyre if you dont have a stiff suspension setup

apparently thats F 16x8 + 31 R 16x8 + 29

yeh i read about that white jazz with the ccw's, he had some springs originally, ive got kings atm, not really willing to get coils as its my daily and ive had enough of coils on my old ek with 12kg and 10kg spring rates.... lol
but im leaning towards cutting the outer edge of the splash guards, cutting front n rear bumpers and ziptieing them down, and rolling the rears and fronts
so we'll see how i go, if i get rubbing ill prob invest in some stiffer springs cause i no for a fact these king super lows r fkn softcore shit, need some hardcore treatment
as for the wheels, ur gonna have to wait n see

am running cusco coilovers on mine, and the spring rates only 6kg. pretty sure they aren't as hard as the kings, (i have a set also), considering when i have time to replace the hieght adjstment in the back for the rear kings and raising the front to suit...
would handle better with the stiffer rear, (well.. would better suit my driving style)

205/50 15 has the same rolling diameter as stock wheel, and also looks better imo, thats my size tyre that i've fitted which i researched and fitted myself personally.
