Hi guys,
Just received my CAI from the states and was wondering if its an easy process pulling the stock one out and replacing it with the one I received.. if so, are there any detailed instructions? (I did search but with no luck :()
Can't wait to hear the difference.. so sick of the stock sound.

+1. I couple days back did the same to install the icebox. The bumper isn't hard to remove. Helps if a second person is there to take it off easier by holding one end. forced my younger bro to help :)

It's easy as. Take the bumper off, take the airbox off. It's just a few 10 mill bolts and some Philip head screws and clips than put it on. If you have trouble pm me and I'll do it for you. Don't pay money for a job that easy!

oh one thing which I wanted to mention, use two flat head screw drivers on opposite ends to get the clips out. Too easy this way.

Yeah i have. I've done it to my eg, ep3 and my brothers dc5. Easy as. Don't need the clips unless youre really rough and snap them. And make sure you keep the original box. Handy if you get defected!

u assumed right - it wasn't my fault. I was waiting for the lights to go green and when they did the guy behind me didn't even give me a chance to clutch and put it in gear and took the back of the car.. =[

Done! :D
Only issue that's bothering me is that the filter can be damaged by water n that's not a good thing for the engine.
I opened the box where the fog lights sit n now am bit worried bout water getting there.. any ideas?

should be fine, unless you fully submerge the filter in water or else you can hydrolock your engine. just avoid those big ass puddles!
or else you could get injen hydroshield socks. though they do restrict air flow.
