Civic EK Climate Control light????

Hey guys my Climate Control LED on the left just keeps blowing everytime i change it..any ideas? short circuit? cheap ebay crap?

Some wedge base leds will short circut when placed deep into a bulb holder, the circutry on the pcb can come incontact with the terminals in the bulb holder and cause a short. So check to see if yours is short circuting on the terminals in the bulb holder.

Would also check the voltage in the terminal with a multi-meter to see if there are any abnormal voltage readings, And check the wires and terminals for any damage.

Are you making sure you have the right polarity when you slot it in?

I use Superbrightleds.com (http://www.superbrightleds.com/cgi-bin/store/index.cgi?action=DispPage&Page2Disp=%2Fspecs%2F74-xHP3.html) to get my leds, highly recommended above those cheap ebay ones, i havent had one burn out yet and i have them running in multiple cars for a year or so.
