I get a clicking noise (one click) at the rear when I take off. Usually happens when on an uphill start. Any ideas what it could be? cv joints worn? suspension?
Cheers

I had a bit of surface rust on one of my driveshafts, cleaned it up and noise was gone.

did not the s2000 have a rear axle nut that was not tight enough from factory which caused the click? all you have to do is tighten it......its on s2ki somewhere...

Problem: Clicking noise from rear when moving in first gear or reverse. Sounds like two metal marbles.
Solution: Honda use to torque the axle nuts to 180 lbs. The correct torque is now 230 lbs. Torque your axle nuts.

I have had the same problem before, just swap the axel nuts from one side to the other.

No point swapping the axle nuts - ensure they are tightened to 220ft/lb. Your mechanic will need a tanky torque wrench though and ensure they are greased properly before doing so.

If he has done that, check that all suspension bolts are tightened properly.

I had a similar click, cured instantly with a diff oil change. Might be worth a try.
