Hello guys, I wanna upgrade my brakes to be able to stop at least 200kW safely in my Civic (in the future for power mods), yet I wanna keep my 15in rims and 4 stud pattern. Is this possible? And what brake upgrades would you suggest other than braided lines and DOT5?

DC2R brakes exist inside 15 inch rims. You can swap over the hub and get 4x100 blanks in a 282mm dimensions

15" spec type-r conversion
Project Mu Type-HC pads
Project Mu Brake Fluid
type-r spec brake master booster conversion
RDA slotted rotors (the new type)
Goodridge braided brake lines all round
Cusco Brake master booster stopper kit

all that + some bloody good tyres + bush kits will pull you up nice and quick

^^That's quite the expensive route
If you got the money do it. If you want more bang for buck

dc2r brakes and a set of decent pads (ebc are good bang for buck)
And a dc2r booster So uou dont get a spongy pedal
Braided lines.

Slotted rotors wouldn't be necessary that's just up to you. Same with fluid.
Cusco brake stopper just helps pedal feel.

Depends how far you want to go, an what's the application.

IMO 262mm rotors will be fine if you have good pads mate. Couple of my friends stuck with the 262's running 193kw and 258kw respectively. Light car, drive safely and you'll have no issues. If its an emergency I don't think you'll save a life between 262-282mm rotors, most likely other factors. But if you're starting with 242mm rotors or whatever then you may as well go 282 but if you have 262 just keep them IMO

PMU Type-NS are cheaper and better than EBC

Thanks for the suggestions, but would DC2R brakes really be sufficient enough for 200kW? As I plan to the track the car (time attack) I'm looking for big biting power combined with high tolerance to brake fade. Would it be better to go above 282mm with a big single pot calliper and start looking at big brake kits as well?

wilwood dynalite kits are pretty cheap and there the biggest and best set you can fit under 15" rims
there about 600 US at the moment

There are quite a few kits around - keep the rotor size to around 286mm and you should be fine.

Big spenders - Custom AP/Brembo kits, Spoon, Endless
Mid range - VTTR (Mini 6) , KSport (?)
Cheapish - the stock one DC2Rs 282mm (Although IMO, you're pushing it for 200kw+ on the track - and track doesn't mean drag strip :-p)

Choose your rims carefully as well - the 6ULs tend to have good clearence + have the appropriate width to cater for tyres that you want if you're running 200+kw.
