Gday guys, im thinking of getting a Jazz but was wondering if there is an way of adding mp3 capability to the factory stereo.

Maybe by adding a cd stacker that is mp3 capable or will it only accept Honda brand stacker (which probably comes from someone else anyway).
Anyone know who makes the facotry stacker? Sony? Can I add a different model Sony stacker that can play mp3s?

Would prefer not to rip out the factory unit and convert to after market double din.

Thanks

Use Ipod or mp3 player with FM transmitter.

yeah you should get an ipod but wouldnt recommend using the fm transmitter...

quality isnt the greatest..

also you could get an iriver...

personally think they have better functions than ipod..

but i ipod has so many accesories...but at a steep price...

If you are getting a jazz new then ask for a MP3 deck. If not just buy a new kenwood or Alpine as they now have an Ipod interface cable so you can use the deck to control the Ipod, Deck cost from $280 up. Also they play MP3 discs.

I wasn't aware that there was an option of an mp3 deck for the Jazz. Does anyone know if there is this option.

And it's not that simple to put in an aftermarket mp3 deck as the Jazz has a cd player integraded into the dash. It can be done but I would prefer to leave it original
