eg horn, embrassing on the road

My daily has started to beep everytime i turn, its an aftermarket steering wheel, with a button horn. It dsnt happen all the time but when it does its embrassing on the road.

I have put it down to the following;
Wiring of the horn is getting stuck somewhere wondering if someone could explain a quick diy or whats actually wrong.

PS: i can pull out the steering wheel.

You are on the right track, its pretty common that when turning the wheel one of the wires is grounding out against something (ie the wheel or the boss kit). This is completing the circuit for the horn.

Take your wheel off and insulate the wiring from any metal surface - so just wrap it in electrical tape, should solve the problem...

Did that, re tapped everything and still makes it. Took it to a mechanic he just had a look from the outside and said the boss kit needed replacing.
