fd2 shift knob help

just put fd2 civic type r knob on euro is there a way to make shift boot sit flush with bottom of knob without looking dodgey? i tried some black tape but it keeps falling off is there an adapter of some sort that the gearboot can clip into? regards

try cable tie under the shift boot

I used a black m10 nut from bunnings to stop it from spinning as a lock nut, then folded over the gear boot inside and pull tied it in the grove, looks neet as!
