How to post a profile pic???

Hey guys, just joined today. Wondering how to add a pic to my profile...i keep trying to upload one but its not working...and i've kept it within the specs that they're requesting...anyone else have this prob??? O and btw, currently have a 94 black vti-r integra...bout to sell it and upgrade to a more boring but business appropriate and practical 2004 accord euro. Hoping the euro will be cheap to run...anyone who's had both and can compare the two feel free to comment!

Haha from Sydney. Ps I promise I won't pretend to know shit about cars, only know bits and pieces from having an ex mechanic bf and from having a tradie for a dad that lets me get involved in fixing shit when he deems me competent. I had an 86 prsche 944 as a first car which was fun but meant I quickly had to learn how to get myself out of trouble if need be. Talk to me about diet or exercise though...like to think I'm pretty knowledgeable in that area...I own a clinic and consult as a dietitian/exercise physiologist.

Best way is to use an online storage such as photobucket.com which I find very easy to use (also saves server space on the forum 'cause the pics you see are just a link. Means though that if you move or delete them from the storage site, they dissappear here as well). Then you can download to here by copy and paste.

various other sites are out there.. but the best ones are:
Photobucket.com <--- has problems with life... sometimes.
sadpanda.us <--- has problems with large traffic sites
imageshack.us <--- has problems with some sites.. can vary

else, facebook works. upload a picture to facebook, open picture in new tab (so it doesn't come up as a windowy thing in facebook) then go 'open image in new tab' or the variation of it depending on your browser.
copy the link in the address bar, copy it onto the page, then surround the link with [img\] [/img\] (remove \'s on each thing) and post. voilla, pictures. also works with links from google and stuff.. get the link from larger pictures or what not, and you're all good.

I'm a computer noobie, but I do it this way. Save my pics from camera/phone to computer. Upload to album/s on Photo bucket (5 or 6 seems to be as much as it handles unless you use their bulk uploader. haven't tried)

Open a browser for forum's thread and for Photobucket. (I have IE8 pinned to taskbar) Select the forum one first (usually Advanced mode) and do any text I want, then select photobucket and the pic I want to copy. Hover the pointer over pic to bring up menu, click the one at the bottom, IMG code. it will tell you it's been copied.
Select forum thread from taskbar IE and paste into field.
