Got the car last Thursday. Drove it around on the weekend, but not since then. Went down tonight to look at the compliance plate for insurance and couldn't relock the car. Then found it wouldn't start either. Checked the battery and it was reading 8.55V I've put it on a battery charger and it is accepting charge fine, but I'm pretty annoyed. Lead Acid batteries don't like being flattened and it is brand new.

Any ideas as to how it could be flat? If it is a fault with the car then it will just have to be fixed, but can you leave the lights on in the car or something?

You 100% sure you didn't leave the interior map light on?

Not 100% sure about the interior light. So that could be it. Must say, I'm used to such things turning themselves off, but they don't seem to in the Euro.

Anyway, the battery is accepting charge fine, so I'll fill it up and go from there. Fortunately I have all the gear to do that (a side benefit of r/c helis as a hobby).

the cabin lights should turn off but not the map/reading lights.
