Hi guys,

I just wanted to know if say, 19x8.5 +25 F and 19x9.5 +10 R are the max you can go for a certain car, will going 18's make a difference in the width and offset? Or is it the same thing?

Thank you.

The diameter of the wheel won't affect the width/offset.

Eg.

19 x 8.5 JJ +25 et
19 x 9.5 JJ +10 et

18 x 8.5 JJ +25 et
18 x 9.5 JJ +10 et

Only diameter changes.
Just make sure the company you're buying from supply the same width/offset for the 18" set.

Yeah, and the max settings, regarding sizes and offset, differ from car to car :)

Correct only the diamet changes but fitting them may be a different story. It depends on the application, for example the rear trailing arm on a DC5 tapers towards the front of the car, therefore the larger the diameter of the wheel the more clearance you have from the control arm. So an 18" wheel may fit fine in the rear, but a 17" wheel in the same width and offset may not, just depends on what car.

Oh... alright, thanks a lot guys. This helps!

Also, I wanted to know if there are any cons to driving a car with 18" in the front and 19" in the rear? Cause I might be getting my rears tomorrow which are 19" (I would also have to run stretched tyres so the profile will be less) and my stocks are 18".. would that look weird/is that bad for my car in any way?

Thank you.
