Hi Guys.
Ive moved to the darkside and become a Honda owner :p . I needed a new daily after the christmas hail destroyed my daily(s) So i decided on buying a Civic with a B18 conversion. I looked high and low for one until i found Mango's civic forsale. After a quick inspection that same day i decided id have it. 2 days later it was mine.
so. heres what its got.
Honda 1995 Civic EG GLI Special Edition
Engine:
Integra VTIR B18C2 (cam seals, rocker cover seal, larger head gasket, water pump, timing belt, rear main seal, spark plugs, clutch, machined fly, pressure plate changed before drop in)
Exedy OEM Clutch
Apexi Neo SAFC
RMF style 4- 1 headers
High flow cat with flexi pipe
Mugen b pipe
Varex muffler
Engine damper
Short ram with cold air duct
3A pod
Pivot grounding kit
Exterior:
OEM EG6 lip
OEM EG6 visors
Antenna block of plate
Carbon Fiber Spoon Style Duck bill

Plans:
Drive the car as much as possible. The car was bought as my daily but to allow me to drive it everywhere (hills, tracks, street). Interior will be upgraded to better seats (I have a pair of Bride EuroII in my 180sx that i will be moving into this), new wheels will be purchased (currently looking at Enkei RPF01 in 15x7 +30). Car will be resprayed in the near future also. Plans are to make it as light as possible to squeeze as much power/responce out of it., i will also be removing the stock wheel and installing a quick release and my Nardi Deep Corn.
Things ive purchased since buying the car:
Camber arms front and rear
Carbon fiber spoon style side mirrors
Strut braces front and rear
Couple of pre purchase pics, have since removed all stickers from the car.

J's Racing Carbon intake arrived yesterday. Just need to fit it up. Bride Rail arrived this morning!
New DIzzy is not working. getting it claimed on insurance so thats being replaced for free. then it looks like my OBDI - OBDIIA wiring harness is dodge so got to check/repair/replace that as the new dizzy when i installed it threw up the same error code + went into limp mode. so pretty weird that the same error happened on a new one as well.

75.9kw lol. varex was half shut found out after i drove off. shattered lol.
75.9kw with no vtec. not bad considering the cars thrown a check light and is not running 100%. Once the dizzy is replaced and vtec working again would be interesting to see the difference.

So just before i went to the states in April a set of Weds Sports SA90's came up forsale and i just had to get them. They were so cheap i didnt hesitate.. The wheels arrived while i was overseas and i couldnt wait to get back home so i could fit them(loved the states btw awesome place cant wait to go back soon) The rims measure in at 16x8 +33(perfect for a civic, not too over the top but good enough to sit nice and flush without having too much poke and making me a defect target). They came with tyres 225/55/16 tyres which were way too big so i removed these and put them on my dads ford wagon and ordered in a set of Federal 595 Evo's 205/45/16.
The next night i picked them up from Wheeltech and fitted them to the wheels. and then we got started on the car. I lowered the rear end about 1.5" and my brother rolled the guards. While i was at work the next day he installed my front camber arms as they wheels were sitting alittle too much out. when i got down there after work i took the car and had it aligned.
Heres how it sits now. Ive order new Rays wheelnuts and they should hopefully be here by the weekend.

Next on the too do list
- Install 1" Brake Master/Booster/Prop Valve
- Replace Distributor
- Respray the car
Egxris

Replaced the Distributor with a Type R OBDII and this fixed my check light problem :)
Purchased some valve caps to go with the new Rays wheel nuts
Purchased a OEM Arm rest center consol :D

Meh, itr rims are boring, too skinny and need spacers so they dont scrub on full lock (had 25mm spacers on in that pic all round). Rather my Weds sports SA90's 16x8 +33 fill it nicely.

Oh whoa! Loving the colour you chose. Car looks great. The stock ITR's look good but guess the specs on the Weds are better so I would've thrown on the Weds too :P
Didn't know this EG was yours. Saw it at Honda Nationals! I would've probably popped by and spoken to you in regards to both your 180 and your EG haha.
Saw you rolling once on the freeway as well in your 180... I was in my work Van, just mirin' and took a snap or two. Almost dropped my phone LOL.
