just get a pre-fabbed system. I have a fujitsubo on my DC2 and it sounds great.

Most are 60mm, which is closer to 2.4inches. Shouldn't matter though if you're just going bolt ons.

wouldnt i get more gains from a 2.5inch exhaust? 60mm= 2.36inch

im confused by your last question.

i can answer the first part but not the second part of it.

you will feel more gains @ the top end of the car, but youll feel a slight lost @ the lower end of the car.

i have 2.5" piping on my civic which has a B16A2 and its fine :)

ye wat i meant is its obviously better to go with a 2.5inch exhaust then a 2.36 exhaust. all branded exhaust are 60mm which equals 2.36inchs. im guessing ur going to get more gains from a bigger exhaust of course. looks like im getting toda headers and chucking on a custom exhaust. Would anyone no if there is a branded exhaust that comes 2.5inches? and is it possible to just buy mufflers on there own. If i can do that i could just buy one that sounds good. i really like the hks silent hi power and the rma01a. only if these were 2.5inch

I lol'd. There are plenty of exhaust that are bigger then 60MM. J's 70RR/RS and Skunk2 Megapower for example.

my suggestion is to get the manifold and cat back from the same company like TODA or Buddyclub, etc. this may help to provide a better fit. I have a j's racing cat back on my dc5r and it sounds amazing even with stock manifold. but yeah there are exhausts on the market bigger than 60mm but unless your planning on doing engine mods such as camshafts, pistons etc, then a 60mm exhaust would be sufficient.

60mm is fine with the mods you already got

best gains possible?

3" custom

but a brand name 2.5 will be fine

why dont you do some research of your own, so many lazy people on this site. wants everything spoonfed straight into there mouth.
