Honda type 2 coolant in eg civic?

Hey guys i just got me a 5 liter bottle of coolant so i can do a flush on my system, just wondering is it ok to use the type 2 blue colored coolant in an eg civic with d16a8?

Yes, of course. I highly recommend genuine coolant.

If it has some other green or whatever coloured crap in it atm, be sure to flush it out properly before putting in the good old Honda blue.
