No, thats a b18c2 head, the intake manifold is a dead give away.. That intake manifold will only fit a b18C2 head (P72 head). Also the head will be stamped P72 under the exhaust shield, type r/b16a heads are stamped PR3.

C7 also had a green mark on the intake side of the head

As above definitely not C7. Either C2 or JDM GSR I think looks the same, bit more powerful than C2.

USDM GSR(B18C1) OR JDM SIR(B18C), jdm motor has higher compression=more power

The seller of the car claims that its stock manifold but all internal have been changed to C7 spec, cams pistons etc. He claims it revs out to 8500 rpm and also puts out 135kw at the wheels.

C7 will redline at 9k but this may also depend what computer he is using? Without receipts his claims are worthless

That dodgy Rising Sun looks familiar.

I'm pretty sure the owner (or previous owner) of that car is on the forum.

No mention of Type-R internals, just a stock VTi-R motor

^ Looks like OEM header too? Would be a bit of an effort, otherwise that OEM heat shield is custom-bolted to a badass header underneath.

Seriously even if there are receipts for C7 parts you need to look inside to prove it. Doesn't mean he couldn't take them out or not even put them in to begin with.

If it's a C2, offer $2000-3000 for the complete engine.
