So I bought an oil filter for my CL9 from Repco, but realised after getting home that the guy gave me a Z411 instead of Z547.

As far as I can see, the two are compatible with each other. But there must be differences, otherwise why would there be two different models.

Has anyone used a Z411 on a CL9? Are there any issues with it?

Same thing happen to me. Didn't notice until I changed the oil myself 10,000 km later. Didn't have any problems, the two filters look almost identical. Apparently the 411 is for mitsubishi engines less than 2.5L displacement. I don't know if there is a subtle difference.

Some filters can alter the oil pressure, whether thats a good thing or not for your engine idk.
