hey guys,

Was wondering how much it cost to recondition the JDM b18c engine? which has done 250,000km? I dnt mine where i do it (honda dealer, local mechanic etc etc.. , as long as it gets the job done well xD!

haha cheers mate! i just wanted to what kind of money i would be dishing out on this motor, if it would better to install new engine or recondition it.

how much exactly no one knows unless you visit mechanic.
i would say 5k would be decent budget.

It all depends on what you will be replacing, machining or upgrading.

You could drop Toda spec F cams in with stupidly oversize pistons, stroker crank blah blah and it will cost 10K+ (example figure) or it may just need a set of rings, bearings & a bore hone with a head check, clean & re-surface and only cost you 2.5k
