the top tank of the radiator in my sister's car is leaking (all around the part where the metal grille meets the plastic top core)...
is there a way to repair it?... or does it needa be replaced...

u can go buy a second hand in good condition from your reputable mechanic for cheap or a wrecker....rebuild is not worth it, coz it may cost abit more than buying a second hand

take it to a radiator place
they need to replace the top tank seal and the crimp plate. also posibly the top tank if its cracked.
In Adelaide this would cost around $220 depending on radiator. inc clean out.
its worth fixing

just get it repaired no point in getting another second hand one cos the same thing will probably happen again seals and plastics dont last too well in a wreckers yard in the hot Aussie sun. may cost a bit more to get it fixed but at least you know its not gonna happen again. just my opinion
